Meet Julie. The hands and heart behind Vivian Rose.

Named for my daughter Vivian and my grandmother Rose, Vivian Rose brings together the people I hold close and the work I love.

From the first filling to the finishing detail, I create cakes and macarons with care—for the pleasure of sharing something beautiful, and the memories that come with it.

The Story Behind Vivian Rose

Vivian, for possibility.

Rose, for strength.

The scorpion, for resilience.

The name Vivian Rose was inspired by my daughter, Vivian, and my grandmother, Rose, who lived to be 100. Vivian represents possibility, the courage to dream bigger, continue growing, and create something meaningful that may one day become part of her story, too. Rose represents strength, roots, and the kind of love that stays with us as we find our own way.

There have been chapters in my life when I've had to begin again, rethink my direction, and trust myself enough to keep going. Building this business has been part of that journey. It has given me a place to express my creativity and create something that feels entirely my own.

The scorpion woven into the Vivian Rose logo is also deeply personal. It represents resilience, transformation, and the determination to move forward through change. Together, Vivian, Rose, and the scorpion tell the story of the brand: where I come from, what inspires me, and the resilience that has carried me forward.

That same care shapes everything I create. I care as much about what a cake reveals when it's sliced as I do about how it looks on the table. I want each macaron to be remembered for its flavor, not simply its beauty.

Flavor, thoughtfully composed

Fragrant vanilla, bright fruit, rich chocolate, and the distinctive character of nuts—each brings something of its own.

I build my recipes around how those flavors work together, balancing sweetness, texture, and richness until every element feels intentional.
